Jason Dufner has made it official that in the years to come he would be seen participating in the European Tour, more and more. He had had the idea of taking up a membership on the European Tour in his mind about which he feels, this year is the time. He had confirmed this in a report during his preparation for HSBC Championship held at Abu Dhabi.
The current world number 11 as per the current ranking count, Jason Dufner is making a debut participation at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship. He will also take part at the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters. He may also be participating in the Presidents Cup which implies that he would just be left of two more events to participate before he can become a full-time member of the European Tour.
The reason for his interest in the European portion is because Jason Dufner has observed that the American Golfers put more focus on the PGA tour and to him it is a really centered approach that lacks variation. He wishes to explore more events that are happening outside USA and finds European tour as the maximum diverse.
Also he wants his gaming skills to improve and for that nothing could be better than the worldwide arena. With the sharpened skills it will help Jason more to get to the top. In his first World Tour at the last fall, at the Perth International held in Australia, Dufner had finished at the runners-up place after Bo Van Pelt.
It is not only Jason Dufner who is interested. Ryder Cup winners Martin Kaymer and Nicolas Colsaerts are also in line but things have not proceeded as far as it has for Dufner. But for now it is Jason Dufner who is ready to make the record deal.
